Through exploration into emotional atrocities, Brady’s work creates apprehension and psychological isolation, through a repetitive pull between rejection, failure and hope. Striving to challenge the links between the physical and the intellectual through the building of installations to form ‘The Moment’ where juxtaposed ideas permeate to fill the empty spaces, in the solid world or within our imagination.
Lizz Brady is a queer, disabled artist living in the North West. In 2015 she founded Broken Grey Wires, an organisation exploring ill mental health through art. She often has severe mental health needs and wants to communicate this through the artwork she creates and develops opportunities and platforms for other artists and communities.
